Is this the same as a Color Scheme?
Yes and No...
A Color Scheme only gives you two or three colors to choose from.
Today, come up with a minimum of three (3) to six (6) colors for your project site.

- You need to have at least two colors that have enough contrast to be used as background and text.
- Check out your contrasts at this cool site and use it as a guide.
- Then try to find a complimentary color that really POPS and stands out.
When you notice a website, or ad, or billboard, etc. that catches your eye, try to find the dominant primary and secondary colors, and what type of color scheme that underlies the palette. |
